Museum of the Warsaw UprisingIt is one of the most interesting museums in Warsaw.
It commemorates the events of 1944 and the armed struggle against the Germans during the Warsaw uprising. 
The museum was opened in August 2004 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the uprising.  The exhibition attempts to recreate the events objectively.

Opening times:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 8.00am - 6.00pm,
Saturdays and Sundays: 10.00am - 6.00pm,
Thursday: 8.00am - 8.00pm,
Closed on Tuesdays.

Standard rate -10 zł (approx. 3 euro)
Concession – 7 zł (approx. 2 euro)

Free admission on Sunday (except for the film “Death of a city” which costs 2 zł or approx. 0,50 euro)

National MuseumA fine museum which houses a rich collection of artwork, from Ancient Roman and Greek art to the 20th century. It also includes works by great Polish artists: Stanisław Wyspiański, Piotr Michałowski, Stanisław I. Witkiewicz.

Temporary exhibitions also feature ceramics and a wide range of art works.

Opening times:

Tuesday - Thursday, Saturday and Sunday:  noon - 6.00pm
Friday: noon - 8.00pm
Closed Mondays.

Permanent exhibitions
Standard rate – 12 zl (approx. 3 euro)
Concessions – 7 zł (approx. 2 euro)
Families 25 zł (approx. 6,5 euro)
Free admission to the permanent exhibitions on Tuesdays

Temporary exhibitions
Standard rate 17 zł (approx. 4.5 euro)
